Nation inherited or built productive country transit country Latin American union national fractionization This article proposes to analyze three questions raised by Justo Arosemena, very important for the twentieth first century: 1. the national question (do we herited a nation in 1903 or was the nation built in the twentieth century?); 2. the social question (productive country or transit community?) 3. the geopolitical question (can Latin America unites transforming itself in an entity capable of facing the challenges of an expanding world?). From sociological perspectives, the author searches to answer those questions. El artículo se plantea analizar tres cuestiones formuladas por Justo Arosemena, palpitantes en el siglo XXI: 1. la cuestión de la nación (¿heredamos una nación en 1903 o construimos una nación en el siglo XX?); 2. la cuestión social (¿país productivo o país de tránsito?); 3. la cuestión geopolítica (¿puede América Latina unirse para constituir un ente capaz de enfrentar retos de un mundo en expansión?). Desde perspectivas sociológicas, el autor busca dar respuestas a esas interrogantes.
