In the city of Puebla, the Church and the City Council relied on these channels to form citizens who are socially and morally religiously useful. Through these speeches, a collective memory was generated that began to rely on images that defended its patriotism, thus historically outstanding figures such as Iturbide or the Virgin of Guadalupe appeared, images that were part of the pantheon of national and local celebrations, becoming references of identity and educational of the angelopolitan population. El presente artículo parte del concepto de «memoria-patrimonio», el cual se construye a través de tres canales básicos: la lengua, la educación y las instituciones. En la ciudad de Puebla, la Iglesia y el Ayuntamiento se basaron en dichos canales para formar al ciudadano socialmente útil y moralmente religioso. Mediante estos discursos, se generó una memoria colectiva que comenzó a apoyarse en imágenes que defendían su patriotismo; así, aparecieron personajes históricamente sobresalientes como Iturbide o la Virgen de Guadalupe, imágenes que formaron parte del panteón de celebraciones nacionales y locales, y que se convirtieron en referentes de identidad y educativos de la población angelopolitana. Este artigo parte do conceito de «memória-patrimônio», que se constrói através de três canais básicos: linguagem, educação e instituições. Na cidade de Puebla, a Igreja e a Câmara Municipal se basearam nesses canais para formar o cidadão socialmente útil e moralmente religioso. Por meio desses discursos, foi gerada uma memória coletiva que começou a se basear em imagens que defendiam seu patriotismo; Assim surgiram figuras historicamente marcantes como Iturbide ou a Virgem de Guadalupe, imagens que fizeram parte do panteão das celebrações nacionais e locais, e que se tornaram referências de identidade e educacionais da população angelopolitana.
