If one does not appreciate this generative knowledge of a new ontology understood as the expression of the cultural context and as a symbolic representation of the metaphysical traditions, knowledge would fall into crisis. An impartiality will be adopted reaching a conclusion appropriate to the interest of the readers to show the inventiveness and the desire to undertake a metaphysical challenge. There is a historical synthesis of the study of metaphysics to understand the different paradigms of Marquínez Argote's thinking and its influence in the world of education. The social, cultural and human unity are fundamental aspects in the constitution of a new ontology understood as an organizational doctrine of discourse in the Latin American circumstance, which allows the assessment of what is ours. El presente artículo analiza los principales postulados que sobre la metafísica en Latinoamérica realiza Germán Marquínez Argote, filósofo que presenta un enfoque liberal para asumir la concepción del ser en nuestro contexto, muestra la importancia de valorar esta nueva visión de la metafísica entendida como un referente para comprender la evolución filosófica frente a diversas críticas que han surgido acerca de la realidad latinoamericana y de la dimensión de la persona en el mundo. Si no se aprecia estos conocimientos generadores de una nueva ontología entendida como la expresión del contexto cultural y como representación simbólica de las tradiciones metafísicas, el conocimiento entraría en crisis. Se adopta una actitud imparcial para alcanzar una conclusión apropiada al interés del lector con miras a mostrar el deseo de emprender un reto metafísico. Se realiza una síntesis histórica del estudio de la metafísica para comprender los diferentes paradigmas del pensamiento de Marquínez Argote y su influencia en el ámbito educativo.  La unidad social, cultural y humana son aspectos fundamentales en la constitución de una nueva ontología entendida como una doctrina organizativa del discurso en la circunstancia latinoamericana que remite a la valoración de lo nuestro.  un reto metafísico.
