The objective of this article is to develop a theoretical model that allows explaining the process of transformation of cultural commons. The approach of this article adheres two theoretical elements: socio-ecological metabolism and domination strategies, which allow the analysis of the reconfiguration of cultural commons. Los bienes comunes culturales han sido sometidos a una fractura metabólica debido a su proceso de trasformación, por lo tanto, la convivencia con los bienes comunes se fragmenta, privilegiando el valor de cambio por sobre los valores de uso para la acumulación. El objetivo del presente artículo es desarrollar un modelo teórico que permita explicar el proceso de trasformación de los bienes comunes culturales.
