AbstractThis article analyzes the reception of Laclau-Mouffe’s hegemonic theory in the political philosophy of the Colombian philosopher Santiago Castro-Gómez. Thepurpose of this academic exercise is to ponder the distinction between the concepts of body and flesh within political theories that think from an agonistic foundation of social relations. To fulfill this objective, not only is Castro-Gómez’s reading of the Laclau-Mouffe project reconstructed, but I also propose an analysis of what the Colombian considers its main limitation: the linguistic reductionism of politics. Within this discussion, I consider it essential to introduce a consideration of the place of the incarnation in the theory of the last Laclau. The text proposes that a consideration of the political struggles and their conquests requires a consideration, not only of the corporate character of the social movements, but also of those aspirations regarding the absent or not occurred that nurture social aspirations and demands. Keywords: Hegemony, Laclau-Mouffe, Castro-Gómez, Antagonism, Enfleshmet ResumenEn este artículo analizo la recepción de la teoría hegemónica de Laclau-Mouffe en la filosofía política del filósofo colombiano Santiago Castro-Gómez. El propósito de este ejercicio académico consiste en ponderar la distinción entre los conceptos de cuerpo y carne, al interior de las teorías políticas que piensan a partir de un fundamento agonístico de las relaciones sociales. Para cumplir con este objetivo, se reconstruye no solo la lectura que Castro-Gómez propone del proyecto de Laclau-Mouffe, sino que propongo un análisis de aquello que el colombiano estima como su principal limitación: el reduccionismo lingüístico de la política. Al interior de esta discusión considero fundamental introducir una consideración sobre el lugar que ocupa la encarnación en la teoría del último Laclau. El texto propone que una consideración de las luchas políticas y sus conquistas requiere tener en cuenta, no solo el carácter corporativo de los movimientos sociales, sino también aquellas aspiraciones en torno a lo ausente o no acaecido que nutren aspiraciones y demandas sociales.
