It highlights the change that must be made in the theological and religious language used in current discourse, to be able to establish possible dialogues between persons from different religious and cultural backgrounds. The symbolic dimension of religious language plays a critical role in how people relate to one another and build community. In addition, this dimension has an important influence in intercultural dialogues and conflicts. La ponencia propone que desde la educación religiosa se puede dar un aporte importante para la construcción de la convivencia y la cultura de paz. Se hace énfasis en el cambio que debe introducirse en la educación religiosa a partir del lenguaje teológicoreligioso que forma parte del discurso actual, esto para establecer posibles diálogos entre personas de diferentes religiones y culturas. La dimensión simbólica del lenguaje religioso cumple un papel fundamental en la forma en cómo las personas se relacionan y construyen comunidad; y tiene una incidencia fundamental en el diálogo y conflicto intercultural. A palestra indica que a partir da educação religiosa é possível oferecer uma contribuição importante para a construção da convivência e a cultura de paz. Faz-se uma ênfase na mudança que se deve introduzir na educação religiosa a partir da linguagem teológico-religiosa que forma parte do discurso atual, para estabelecer possíveis diálogos entre pessoas de diferentes religiões e culturas. A dimensão simbólica da linguagem religiosa assume um papel fundamental na forma como as pessoas se relacionam e constroem comunidade; e têm uma incidência fundamental no diálogo e conflito intercultural.
