THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF THE EDUCATION OFFERED BY UNED: CURRICULAR IMPLICATIONS Fallas-Zúñiga, Melba Fallas-Rivera, Paola Tencio-Blanco, Carolina Belén Este artículo presenta el tema de la Internacionalización en la Educación Superior, desde lo que compete al área curricular y algunas de las implicaciones que conlleva el planteamiento de una oferta y gestión curricular desde esta perspectiva. Para ello, se plantea el concepto de internacionalización en el contexto educativo y su inmersión en la Educación Superior como respuesta a las exigencias de una sociedad cada vez más globalizada, que requiere de profesionales competentes ante una gama diversa de contextos labores nacionales e internacionales. Posterior a los puntos anteriores, es primordial como objetivo de este artículo, exponer este principio desde la Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) y el proceso que, desde el 2002, se inició en la universidad alrededor de la temática. Junto al histórico que se presenta, se expone el marco político y de acción que rige este principio institucional, señalando específicamente los aspectos referentes al área curricular.Palabras clave: Currículo, internacionalización, oferta y gestión curricularAbstract This article presents the issue of internationalization in higher education, from what it is for the curriculum area and some of the implications of the approach of an offer and curriculum management from this perspective. This introduces the concept of internationalization in the context of education and immersion in Higher Education in response to the demands of an increasingly globalized society, which requires competent professionals with a diverse range of national and international work contexts. Following the above is paramount aim of this article, exposing this principle for the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) and the process that was started in the university since 2002 about the topic. Next to the historic that presents, set out the policy framework and action governing this institutional principle, noting specifically the issues relating to curricular area.Keywords: Curriculum, internationalization, curricular offer and management.
