This allows a better understanding of the changing and dynamic reality in which power relations develop through various strategies and techniques. Nowadays, public universities, belonging to the social network, are places of debate about freedom, autonomy, submission and/or resistance. This text describes the author’s rationale on power relations and their impact on university autonomy. Michael Foucault nos invita a identificar las vinculaciones sociales del poder en el devenir histórico multidireccional. Esto permite una mejor comprensión de la realidad cambiante y dinámica en la cual se desarrollan las relaciones de poder a través de diversas estrategias y técnicas. Actualmente, la institución universitaria pública, perteneciente al entramado social, es lugar de debate sobre la libertad, la autonomía, la sumisión y/o resistencias. Este escrito describe el pensamiento del autor sobre las relaciones de poder y su impacto actual en la autonomía universitaria.
