Aportes para el debate: El género como categoría de análisis en el sistema educativo de secundaria Ramírez Achoy, Jéssica gender education and women curriculum civics social studies género Eduación y mujeres Programa de Estudios MEP Estudios Sociales Educación Cívica The article makes a balance about the use of gender category in graduation projects at the history school of “Universidad Nacional” and the curriculum of “Ministerio de Educación Pública”; in addition, it discusses topics related to social conditioning and male domination based on Pierre Bourdieu; furthermore, it analyses the necessity of integrating the theorizing about the gender in the Costa Rican national system as a measure to counteract inequalities between women and men. En este artículo se realiza un balance sobre el uso de la categoría de género en trabajos de graduacin de la Escuela de Historia de la Universidad Nacional y en los Programas de Estudio del Ministerio de Educación Pública; también se discuten temas referentes al condicionamiento social y la dominación masculina partiendo de Pierre Bourdieu. Se analiza la necesidad de integrar la teorización sobre el género en el sistema educativo costarricense como medida para contrarrestar las desigualdades entre mujeres y hombres.
