El presente trabajo analiza la formación de educadores costarricenses en el marco del diseño curricular desde tres ángulos complementarios: los escenarios socioculturales y pedagógicos emergentes, con la finalidad de ofrecer un marco contextual; la perspectiva de los actores, es decir, docentes, padres de familia y estudiantes, los cuales constituyen el sentido fundamental de toda formación profesional; y por último, el diseño y la gestión del currículum propiamente dicho y su influencia determinante en la construcción de los programas de estudio.
