Nothing nor anyone should deviate the sufi from his total submission, attention, and thought in Allah; the fana’, the self-annihilation, or the mystic absortion; as well as other sufi practices such as quietism, meditation and prayer. Besides all these notions, one has to add the ascetic sphere of the sufi and his journey to a new superior stage, that is the mystic stage itself. This essay analyses all these sufi notions contained in the Libyan popular tale entitled Allah will Provide, besides the notions of tawakkul Allah and Allah’s attribute of al-Razzaq. El cuento popular libio titulado Allah Proveerá, a pesar de no ser un cuento sufí, o místico propiamente dicho, contiene elementos sufíes como el tawakkul Allah, la confianza total y absoluta en Allah, el Creador; el dhikr, el pensamiento total y únicamente en Allah, que nada ni nadie desvíe al sufí de su pensamiento en Allah; el fana’, la autoaniquilación, o la absorción mística; el quietismo; la meditación; la oración. A todo lo anterior debemos agregar la etapa ascética del sufí y su viaje de superación hacia el estadio más elevado del misticismo. Este ensayo analiza todos estos elementos sufíes en el cuento popular libio titulado Allah Proveerá, además de las nociones del tawakkul Allah y de al-Razzaq de Allah.
