El currículum es un concepto amplio que no se ciñe sólamente al plano de los contenidos sino que incluye también las metodologías a emplear, la secuencia de las acciones relacionadas con el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje y su evaluación. Incluye una filosofía educativa como elemento sustentador, unos valores, objetivos, estrategias didácticas, espacios, recursos y otros muchos aspectos del currículum sobre lo que hay poco investigado.
