Banca circuito del capital comercio mundial globalidad Countless transactions take place on a daily basis at a global level. Nations exchange their products according to their production purpose; however, this usually happens within the circuit of capital model. In one of this model´s stages, i.e. commodity circulation, international documentary payment instruments (IDPI) have a crucial role. Even though these instruments do not carry commercial value, they represent completely the will of the economic agents who use them to achieve the incremental value they expect. This article is aimed at addressing the role of IDPIs in commodity circulation. Infinitas transacciones ocurren en forma cotidiana al nivel planetario. Las naciones intercambian sus productos según sus propósitos de producción, no obstante ello suele suceder dentro del marco del circuito del capital. En una de sus dimensiones, la circulación mercantil, suelen participar de manera crucial los denominados instrumentos internacionales de pago (IIP), los cuales, si bien no son portadores de los valores mercantiles, son representantes absolutos de las voluntades de los agentes económicos que recurren a estos de cara a la consecución del valor incremental que esperan obtener. Este artículo persigue abordar el rol que juegan los IIP dentro de la circulación mercantil.
