This exercise consisted in a reconstruction of the process experienced by the National Front of Peoples from 2001 until 2014, through the recovery of part of its historical memory, its trajectory, and its identity as a movement. This approach is made from a sociological perspective whose emphasis is to know the process of production and learning. This learning is intrinsic to the struggles for the defense and promotion of human rights the platform of indigenous movements has carried out. Among its conclusions, the growth of the actions is noteworthy. These actions have been carried out through the organization, sensitization, and awareness-raising on human rights of these indigenous peoples. El propósito del presente artículo es reflexionar sobre las luchas por los derechos humanos de los pueblos indígenas costarricenses, a partir de un ejercicio de sistematización de experiencias, que consistió en una reconstrucción del proceso vivido por el Frente Nacional de Pueblos Indígenas desde el 2001 hasta el 2014, a través de la recuperación de parte de su memoria histórica, de su caminar y de su identidad como movimiento. Este acercamiento se hace desde una mirada sociológica, cuyo énfasis es conocer el proceso de producción y los aprendizajes intrínsecos a las luchas por la defensa y la promoción en derechos humanos llevadas a cabo por la plataforma de movimientos indígenas. Entre sus conclusiones se destaca el crecimiento de las acciones llevadas a cabo, por medio de la organización, sensibilización y concientización en derechos humanos de estos pueblos indígenas. O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre as lutas pelos direitos humanos dos povos indígenas a nível da Costa Rica, através de um exercício de sistematização de experiências, por meio da  reconstrução vivida pela Frente Nacional dos Povos Indígenas, desde 2001 até 2014, partindo  da recuperação da memória histórica, sua caminhada e sua identidade como um movimento. Esta abordagem é feita a partir de uma perspectiva sociológica, cuja ênfase é conhecer o processo de produção e as aprendizagens intrínsecas na luta para defender e promover os direitos humanos que foram realizados pela plataforma dos movimentos indígenas. Entre as conclusões o destaque está no crescimento das ações levadas a cabo,  pela organização, sensibilização e conscientização dos direitos humanos dos povos indígenas.
