APORTACIONES DESDE EL ANÁLISIS DE ALGUNOS TEXTOS ALGEBRAICOS Y DEL CÁLCULO López-Acosta, Luis Alberto This paper shows some of the possibilities of using Systemic-Functional Linguistics for the study of mathematical language. These possibilities are taken from three investigations that aimed to understand the grammatical and multisemiotic characteristics of different algebraic discourses based on translations of original texts in the history of the development of algebra, as well as student texts when solving problems related to the algebra developed by Viète and Descartes. The results of these studies have shown the grammatical and semantic characteristics that differentiate different types of algebraic texts and others belonging to students. The use of certain mechanisms of intersemiosis between the different semiotic resources of mathematical language: natural language, symbolism and images is also addressed. The main objective is to show how the methods of analysis from this theoretical approach can visualize hidden elements for researchers in Mathematics Education. En este trabajo se muestran algunas de las posibilidades que tiene emplear la Lingüística Sistémico-Funcional para el análisis del lenguaje matemático. Estas posibilidades son retomadas de tres investigaciones que buscaron comprender las características gramaticales y multisemióticas de distintos discursos algebraicos de traducciones de textos originales en la historia del desarrollo del álgebra, así como textos de estudiantes al resolver problemas relacionados con el álgebra desarrollada por Viète y Descartes. Los resultados de estos estudios han dado muestra de las características gramaticales y semánticas que diferencian distintos tipos de textos algebraicos y otros pertenecientes a estudiantes. También, se aborda el uso de mecanismos de intersemiosis entre los distintos recursos semióticos del lenguaje matemático: lenguaje natural, simbolismo e imágenes. Principalmente, se busca dar una muestra sobre cómo los métodos de análisis desde este enfoque teórico pueden visualizar elementos ocultos para personas investigadoras en Educación Matemática.
