Hence, the author presents the concept of information ethics, to later refer to free access to information as a means to contribute to the democratization of knowledge and finally refers to intellectual property. El uso de la información es una actividad ineludible en el mundo actual, pero para tales efectos se impone la condición del acceso para que el uso sea posible y equitativo. De aquí que, la autora presenta el concepto de ética de la información, para posteriormente referirse al acceso libre a la información con medio para contribuir a la democratización del conocimiento y finalmente hace referencia a la propiedad intelectual. O uso da informação é uma atividade inevitável no mundo de hoje, mas para tais efeitos a condição de acesso é imposta para que o uso seja possível e equitativo. Assim, o autor apresenta o conceito de ética da informação, para depois se referir ao livre acesso à informação como forma de contribuir para a democratização do conhecimento e, finalmente, se referir à propriedade intelectual.
