Garibaldo Concepción, Judith Roselia intervención psicólogos industriales y organizacionales intervention psychologists industrial and organizational psychologists In this qualitative research, we investigated the interventions of thirty psychologists in the industrial and organizational area, based on continuous training, theoretical models, instruments and techniques received, their own literary productions, and the contributions made by them, through the various positions held in panamanian organizations and institutions. Categories were described, by sex, specifying the domains and fields of action of psychologists specializing in industrial and organizational psychology, clearly defined by the american psychological association, recognized in the different fields of scientific work. The scientific foundation obtained by psychologists and its application in the subsystems of human talent management has contributed greatly to the development of studies of human resource behavior as a key and valuable element for the improvement of performance, welfare and productivity in panamanian organizations and institutions. En esta investigación cualitativa, investigamos las intervenciones de treinta psicólogos del área industrial y organizacional, fundamentadas en la formación continua, en modelos teóricos, instrumentos y técnicas recibidas; producciones literarias propias, y en las aportaciones realizadas por ellos, a través, de los diversos cargos desempeñados, en organizaciones e instituciones panameñas. Se describieron categorías, por sexo, que especificaban los dominios y campos de acción de los psicólogos especialistas en psicología industrial y organizacional, claramente definida por la asociación americana de psicología, reconocida en los diferentes campos del quehacer científico. El fundamento científico obtenido por los psicólogos y su aplicación en los subsistemas de gestión del talento humano, ha contribuido grandemente en el desarrollo de estudios del comportamiento del recurso humano, como elemento clave y valioso para el mejoramiento del rendimiento, del bienestar y de la productividad en organizaciones e instituciones panameñas.
