The elements of this system are present in the magnitudes of importantmonuments such as the Great Pyramid of Giza and the temples located in the Archaeological Site of Teotihuacan. Both sites, separated by space-time, were devised from magnitude values that arise from the same measurementsystem of astronomical nature, whose numbers represent the revolutions of the planets that these civilizations widely observed. The present article describes the measurement system used by both cultures, as well as the numerical systems at play. En esta comunicación se presenta el uso de una metrología antigua en la determinación de la magnitud del arco de meridiano que comprendía la región egipcia hace unos 3000 años a. C. Los elementos de esa metrología se encuen-tran presentes en las magnitudes de monumentos importantes como la Gran Pirámide de Guiza y los templos ubicados en el sitio arqueológico de Teotihuacán. Ambos yacimientos, alejados por el espacio-tiempo, fueron levantados a partir de magnitudes que se desprenden de un mismo sistema de medición de naturaleza astronómica, cuyos números involucrados representan las revoluciones de los planetas que esas civilizaciones ampliamente observaban. En el artículo se describe el sistema de medición utilizado por ambas culturas, así como los sistemas numéricos en juego.
