Inorganic waste can be used to transform itself into new assets that contribute to the recycling principle, as well as encouraging economic reactivation, so that people at social risk can be included in the labor market. It is necessary to know a little about these types of projects that are established in community collectioncenters, in this case the Municipality of Poás in which they do a whole process and treatment of waste. It should benoted that there are ways to add greater profitability to this type of project, in which inorganic materials can be used to promote the agribusiness and, eventually, collaborate with reducing the amount of chemical inputs in territories andagricultural plots. Este documento informa al lector sobre la oportunidad que existe con los desechos orgánicos e inorgánicos que están en el entorno y sociedad en general. La basura inorgánica puede ser utilizada para transformarse en activos nuevos, que contribuyan con el principio de reciclaje, además que incentiva a la reactivación económica, para que personas –en riesgo social– puedan incluirse en el mercado laboral. Es necesario conocer un poco de este tipo de proyectos quese establecen en centros de acopios comunales –en este caso de la Municipalidad de Poás‒ en la cual hacen todo un proceso y tratamiento de los desechos. Cabe destacar que existen formas para agregar mayor rentabilidad a este tipo de proyectos, en la cual se puede hacer uso de materias inorgánicas que promuevan el negocio del agro y que, eventualmente, colabore con disminuir la cantidad de insumos químicos en los territorios y parcelas agrícolas.
