These problems emerge from a doctoral research of the magazine Repertorio Americano, from my work as director of the Revista Ítsmica, Magazine of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, of the National University (Costa Rica) dedicated to Central American and Caribbean studies and , as the former professor in charge of the academic writing course for extension for academics of the same National University, during the years 2022 to 2024; in which I guided the writing of around 30 academic articles in different areas of knowledge. This is a self-reflective look at the process of researching journals and articles for a possible route for the formation and development of research designs, research objects, materials, data and conclusions related to academic journals. Este artículo aborda una serie de problemas y recomendaciones relacionadas con la investigación de revistas académicas del área de arte-humanidades y ciencias sociales fundamentalmente, pero también estudia reflexiones y preguntas generales para el estudio de revistas o artículos varios que pueden ser utilizados indistintamente del campo. Estos problemas se desprenden de una investigación doctoral de la revista Repertorio Americano, de mi labor como director de la Revista Ístmica, Revista de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, de la Universidad Nacional (Costa Rica) dedicada a los estudios centroamericanos y del Caribe y, como el exprofesor encargado del curso de escrituras académicas para extensión para académicos y académicas de la Universidad Nacional, del 2022 al 2024; en el cual guie la escritura de alrededor de 40 artículos académicos en distintas áreas del conocimiento. Se trata de una mirada autorreflexiva del proceso de investigación de revistas y artículos para una posible ruta para la conformación y el desarrollo de diseños de investigación, objeto de investigación, materiales, datos, conclusiones y efectos ideológicos vinculados con las revistas académicas.
