In a way, I recall those days when a great teacher, Juan Stam, spoke to me of new realities. And I can only feel, think, relate that extraordinary Colombian leader, Camilo Torres, out of my own experience with the teachings of Juan Stam, another great Latin Americanist thinker. Cuando me acerco al texto que presenta Samuel Silva Gotay sobre el legado de Camilo Torres a la Teología de la Liberación, no lo hago desde un terreno inexplorado. En cierta forma, revivo aquellos días en los que un gran maestro me hablaba de realidades nuevas. Y no puedo sino sentir, pensar, relacionar aaquel personaje colombiano tan extraordinario desde mi propia vivencia, con Juan Stam, otro gran pensador latinoamericanista. Quando me aproximo do texto apresentado por Samuel Silva Gotay sobre o legado de Camilo Torres à Teologia da Libertação, não o faço a partir de terrenosinexplorados. De certa forma, revivo aqueles dias em que um grande professor me falava de novas realidades. E não posso deixar de sentir, pensar, relacionar esse extraordinário carácter colombiano da minha própria experiência, com Juan Stam, outro grande pensador latino-americano.
