Traducción Jurídica Texto Jurídico Ley Civil Ley Común Problemas De La Traducción Legal translation legal texts The Civil law The Common Law Translation problems This article is a practical approach to common problems of legal translation in our context. The problems are presented through a study of legal texts with their complexities, inherent to their role in law. Different problems are discussed as they affect translation and the explaining of rules, criteria and legal thought from both The Continental Law and The Common Law. Ten of them are identified as very common ones, and possible solutions are suggested. El presente escrito es un asedio práctico de los problemas comunes a la traducción jurídica en nuestro contexto. La presentación de estos problemas se hace desde el estudio del texto jurídico con sus complejidades, propias de su función en el derecho. Se discuten problemas de diversa índole que afectan la labor de traducir y explicar las normas, criterios y pensamiento jurídico en la Ley Civil-Continental y la Ley Común (Common Law), por ser los sistemas legales más afines al contexto americano. Se identifican diez de ellos, por ser los más frecuentes, y se sugieren soluciones posibles a las limitaciones señaladas.
