In the discovery of the Bible as product of conflicting memories, voices and cultures, be conscious of distances is a way of creating bridges between different realities but which, in fact, have always interacted and can discover new paths for humanity in the Bible and beyond the Bible. El presente ensayo propone, a partir del reconocimiento de la diversidad cultural y religiosa, que el uso de las ciencias sociales, en particular la antropología social, es una herramienta indispensable para la lectura intercultural del texto bíblico. Siendo la Biblia el producto de memorias, voces y culturas encontradas, tomar consciencia de las distancias es una forma de crear puentes entre realidades diversas, pero que, de hecho, siempre han interactuado y pueden descubrir nuevos caminos de humanidad en la Biblia y más allá de la Biblia. Este ensaio propõe, a partir do reconhecimento da diversidade cultural e religiosa, que o uso das ciências sociais, em particular da antropologia social, é uma ferramenta indispensável para a leitura intercultural do texto bíblico. Ao descobrir a Bíblia como produto de memórias, vozes e culturas conflitantes, tomar consciência das distâncias é uma forma de criar pontes entre realidades diferentes, mas que, de fato, sempre interagiram e podem descobrir novos caminhos de humanidade na Bíblia e além da Bíblia.
