The knowledge of bioethics within sustainable rural development, mainly related to the issue of pesticides is necessary when thinking about interdisciplinary environmental and health education. In addition to anato-physiological capacities, the human being is also a social y cultural being, with values and, equally, an environmental being, where the environment and the activities that exercises are totally connected to his health and quality of life. Considerando os avanços e as tecnologias da produção convencional de alimentos e as relações já evidenciadas com consequências devastadoras para a saúde humana e o meio ambiente, o presente artigo traz discussões, através de uma revisão bibliográfica, sobre a gênese interdisciplinar da bioética e o discurso de autores da bioética ambiental global e sustentabilidade: Van Renssealer Potter, Raquel Carson, Lutzemberg, Moltmann, Leonardo Boff e Jaime Breilh. O conhecimento da bioética dentro do desenvolvimento rural sustentável, relacionado principalmente à questão dos agrotóxicos, faz-se necessário quando se pensa em uma educação interdisciplinar ambiental e de saúde. Além de capacidades anato-fisiológicas, o ser humano étambém um ser social, cultural, com valores e, igualmente, um ser ambiental, onde o ambiente e as atividades que exerce estão totalmente conectados a sua saúde e qualidade de vida. Considerando los avances y las tecnologías de la producción convencional de alimentos y las relaciones ya evidenciadas con consecuencias devastadoras para la salud humana y el medio ambiente, este artículo presenta debates, a través de una revisión bibliográfica, sobre la génesis interdisciplinaria de la bioética y el discurso de autores de la bioética ambiental global y sostenibilidad: Van Renssealer Potter, Raquel Carson, Lutzemberg, Moltmann, Leonardo Boff y Jaime Breilh. El conocimiento de la bioética dentro del desarrollo rural sostenible, relacionado principalmente con el tema de los pesticidas, es necesario cuando se piensa en una educación interdisciplinaria ambiental y de salud. Además de las capacidades anato-fisiológicas, el ser humano también es un ser social, cultural, con valores e, igualmente, un ser ambiental, donde el entorno y las actividades que ejerce están totalmenteconectados con su salud y calidad de vida.
