The agent’s religious practices and beliefs are now struggling between the apparent religious indifference (atheism, agnosticism, and in a softer way, the laicism) and the closeness with the Catholicism, add up to the searching of new cults by the people. This neuralgic issue, requires the attentive analysis of the social scientist, since the changes produced in the core of the religious configuration may have unexpected consequences that cannot be ignored nor minimalized. The current investigation, pretends to determine if the transformation in the Colombian religious field does have or does not have a real impact in terms of individual political deliberation and formal participation. Parece innegable que en los tiempos actuales la matriz religiosa nacional ha mutado: la confesionalidad de los agentes adeptos a una religión se debate entre la aparente indiferencia religiosa (ateísmo, agnosticismo y de manera más atenuada el laicismo), el estrechamiento con los vínculos católicos tradicionales y la búsqueda de nuevos cultos de la más diversa índole. Tan neurálgico asunto requiere del atento análisis del científico social, puesto que los cambios producidos en la configuración religiosa pueden traer consecuencias inesperadas cuyo impacto no puede ser pormenorizado. La presente investigación, pretende determinar si las transformaciones en el campo religioso nacional han tenido impacto o no sobre el ejercicio político deliberativo individual, y en la participación política formal. Parece inegável que nos tempos atuais a matriz religiosa nacional tenha mudado: a confessionalidade dos agentes adeptos a uma religião se debate entre a aparente indiferença religiosa (ateísmo, agnosticismo e de maneira mais atenuada o laicismo), o estreitamento com os vínculos católicos tradicionais e a busca de novos cultos da mais diversa índole. Tão nevrálgico assunto requer da atenta análise do cientista social, já que as transformações produzidas na configuração religiosa podem trazer consequências inesperadas cujo impacto não pode ser pormenorizado. A presente investigação pretende determinar se as transformações no campo religioso nacional tiveram impacto ou não sobre o exercício político deliberativo individual, e na participação política formal.
