To dive into the salvadoran process, triggered after what the author identifies as the end of the post civil war regime. Outcome that was established by the breaking off after the 2019 presidential elections, which turned into the elections of president Bukele by a vast majority of votes. Rupture was confirmed 5 years later, also by popular demand, at the legislative elections set for 2021, which allowed President Bukele to win a wider parliamentary majority. This process ratified at both presidential and legislatives of 2024, in which traditional parties who ruled for 30 years and the past regime, were not able to overlast its hegemony and on the contrary, were reduced to its minimal expression Se revisan las categorías más relevantes que hacen parte del concepto de democracia y su concreción histórica en regímenes políticos; así como los desafíos que se le plantean en la construcción y el análisis de regímenes concretos. Esto para, profundizar en el proceso salvadoreño, desencadenado luego de lo que el autor identifica como el fin del régimen de posguerra civil. Desenlace que quedó establecido con su ruptura en las elecciones presidenciales del 2019, en las que resultó electo el candidato Nayib Bukele, por una amplia mayoría de votos. Ruptura confirmada cinco años después, siempre por decisión popular, en las legislativas 2021, esto da amplia mayoría parlamentaria al Presidente Bukele.
