Its structure highlights several intertexts presented through an indicative generating culture, whose main figure is Christ. The mysterious being, the angel, seeks to be human and ground at the same time, but his divine condition is questioned from the studies of Lévi Strauss, Greimas, Muñoz and Kristeva regarding the position of text, context and hypertext. The angel is established as a subject of enunciation, a poor Christ and a messenger angel misunderstood by a greedy society Este estudio plantea una visión hermenéutica y cristiana del cuento de Pasos El ángel pobre. El ser misterioso, el ángel, procura ser humano y terreno a la vez, pero su condicióndivinase cuestiona a partir de los estudios de Lévi Strauss, Greimas, Muñoz y Kristeva en cuanto a la posición de texto, contexto e hipertexto. El ángel es instaurado como un sujeto de enunciación, un Cristo pobre y un ángel mensajero incomprendido por una sociedad avarienta.
