This article corresponds to the results of the Descriptive Research carried out for the Basic Market Study in the Sector of Foreign Trade Services and Internationalization of PYMES in Costa Rica. El Sistema Internacional del siglo XXI, caracterizado por una alta globalización económica y digital, generan la necesidad de que las compañías conozcan su entorno de trabajo, que desde un punto de vista técnico, implica además, conocer sus potenciales usuarios (target), proveedores, competencia y demás elementos básicos propios de un estudio de mercado (inteligencia de negocios).
