Con eseobjetivo, en las últimas décadas se ha desarrollado el régimen internacional de cambio climático, un proceso complejo y que sigue siendo un trabajo en progreso. En ese sentido, el estudio de las Relaciones Internacionales debe buscar la mejora en la comprensión del contexto político internacional que enmarcaese proceso y contribuye a la toma de decisiones efectivas (Underdal, 2017).
