This trajectory is proposed accordingto the personal criteria of the author. The fundamental idea that it aspires to demonstrate starts from the fact that humanism is above all an interpretive model of social reality in search of the improvement of human beings and their societies. El artículo propone un breve recorrido panorámico e histórico, a través de importantes hitos de la historia universal, sobre el surgimiento y desarrollo general delhumanismo como concepción teórica y metodológica para el estudio y la comprensión la realidad social. Dicha trayectoria se propone según los criterios personales del autor. La idea fundamental que se aspira a demostrar parte del hecho de que el humanismo es ante todo un modelo interpretativo de la realidad social en búsqueda del mejoramiento del ser humano y sus sociedades.
