This article was written against the backdrop of creating a space for exchange, dialog and academic, artistic expression with various university groups working in the discipline of dance. The methodology implemented focused on the application of processes that would allow the proposed objective to be achieved. These processes consisted of techniques of participatory, group and communication nature, due to a large number of people who joined the activities. Some of these techniques were of artistic expressions, such as workshops and dissemination events. The results of these meetings led to written works and presentations, to listen and learn about working methodologies and social work that each team would do. In addition, open workshops were held, both for the communities and for the members of the different groups, with the teachers who were part of this project. The meeting also allowed the participants to create artistic shows open to all, with the aim of showing part of the practical work that is done with these populations. The opening of the International Artistic-Humanist Meetings succeeded, on the one hand, in establishing a space to promote the Latin American integration and the creation of participatory support networks through reflection, discussion and analysis; and, on the other hand, in consolidating an artistic corridor thanks to the exchange of workshops, teachers and groups, as a way of growing and making artistic work known as a whole. El presente artículo se escribe teniendo como telón de fondo el objetivo crear un espacio de intercambio, diálogo y expresión artístico académico con diversos grupos universitarios, que trabajan en la disciplina de la danza. Se utilizó una metodología focalizada en la aplicación de procesos que permitieran concretar el objetivo propuesto; estos procesos consistieron en técnicas de índole participativo, grupales y de comunicación, debido a la gran cantidad de personas que se incorporaron a las actividades. Algunas de estas técnicas fueron de expresión artística, como talleres y eventos de difusión. Los resultados de estos encuentros propiciaron la realización de trabajos escritos y ponencias, para escuchar y conocer sobre las metodologías de trabajo y la labor social que realizaría cada equipo. Además, se efectuaron talleres abiertos, tanto para las comunidades como para los integrantes de los diferentes grupos, con los maestros que fueron parte de este proyecto. El encuentro también permitió a los participantes la creación de espectáculos artísticos abiertos para todo público, con el objetivo de mostrar parte del trabajo práctico que se realiza con esas poblaciones. La apertura de los Encuentros internacionales artístico-humanistas logró, por un lado, establecer un espacio que fomenta la integración latinoamericana y la creación de redes de apoyo participativo por medio de la reflexión, la discusión y el análisis y, por otro, consolidar un corredor artístico gracias al intercambio de talleres, maestros y agrupaciones, como una forma de crecimiento y de dar a conocer el trabajo artístico en conjunto.
