The geographical benefits offered by Fort Sherman, located in the Atlantic side, enhance the development and administration of several activities of the auxiliary maritime industries. A Yatch Club, Shelter Bay hotel, National Aeronaval Service (SENAN) and other activities are placed in this area and are compatible with the proposal and confirms the geographic and strategic benefits of the location. After several field visits to the area, the results of a proposal are presented for the development and administration of the ancillary maritime industry from a previous study from late 2019, consisting in the establishment of a seaport o berth with all the facilities needs to enhance these activities in the province of Colon. El sector marítimo de Panamá representa una de las más eficientes y pujantes industrias de la economía nacional, no sólo por las múltiples oportunidades de inversión, sino también por su carácter innovador en conectividad con el mercado internacional y la industria del transporte. Los beneficios geográficos que ofrece el Fuerte Sherman, ubicación en el Sector Atlántico, propician el desarrollo y administración de diversas actividades de las industrias marítimas auxiliares. En el área se encuentran un Club de Yates, el hotel Shelter Bay, el Servicio Nacional Aeronaval (SENAN) y otras actividades que son compatibles con la propuesta y que a la vez confirman los beneficios geográficos y estratégicos que tiene el lugar. Luego de una serie de visitas de campo al área, se presentan los resultados de una propuesta de desarrollo y administración de la industria marítima auxiliar presentada a finales de 2019, que consiste en la creación de un puerto o un muelle con todas las facilidades necesarias para impulsar estas actividades en la provincia de Colón.
