THE REVISTA ELECTONICA ELECTRONICA CALIDAD EN LA EDUCACION SUPERIOR: REFLECTIONS IN ITS FOURTH YEAR IN ACTION (2010-2013) Alfaro-Chavarría, Consuelo Acón-Matamoros, Ariana Gabriela Cox-Alvarado, Javier Este artículo corresponde a un análisis de la Revista Electrónica Calidad en la Educación Superior, publicada por el Programa de Autoevaluación Académica, Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) de Costa Rica, en el cual a través de la formación de series y el análisis de unidades de estudio como: autor, año, idioma, entre otras, se pueden obtener datos de gran valor para la evaluación del desempeño y calidad de la revista, en el período comprendido entre 2010-2013. A través de este estudio, se determinó que en este período las ediciones de la revista fueron regulares y con una producción eficiente en cada una de las ediciones estudiadas; en su año más productivo 23 artículos, y llegando a 16 en el año de menor producción, ya que corresponde al año de creación de la revista. Por otra parte, se analizan diversos puntos de interés con el fin de establecer el comportamiento de la revista y las condiciones que se han presentado durante este período. Palabras clave: producción científica, revista electrónica, publicaciones periódicas.AbstractThis article is an analysis of the Revista Electrónica Calidad en la Educación Superior, published by the Programa de Autoevaluación Académica of the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) of Costa Rica, in which through the formation of series and analysis of units of study as author, year, language, among others, can obtain valuable data for evaluating the performance and quality of the journal, in the period from 2010 to 2013.
