Presenta resultados de una evaluación acerca de los audios aplicada a los primeros estudiantes. Para la sistematización de este caso, se analizan los criterios que permitieron que los podcasts fueran exitosos como herramienta pedagógica. Los autores defienden que la herramienta por sí misma no es garantía de éxito pedagógico, sino que tiene que responder a ciertos criterios de producción tecnológicos y pedagógicos. El artículo arroja datos importantes en cuanto a la aproximación a las TIC. Señala líneas de investigación futuras y plantea la importancia de crear cultura en relación con la necesidad de periódicas evaluaciones sobre la pertinencia de los materiales didácticos. RELEVANCE OF EIGHT RADIO PROGRAMS (OR PODCASTS) AS TEACHING MATERIAL IN DISTANCE EDUCATION IN AN INTRODUCTORY SUBJECT TO NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENTAbstractThis study evaluates the relevance of eight radio programs (or podcasts) as distance teaching material in an introductory course of the Natural Resources Management Program. It presents results of an evaluation applied among the first students. For the systematization of this case, the criteria that allowed these podcasts to be a successful as a pedagogical tool are analyzed. The authors argue that the tool itself is not a guarantee of pedagogical success, but has to respond to certain technological and pedagogical production decisions. The article offers important data on the approach to ICT. It also suggests future lines of research. In addition, it raises awareness about the importance of creating the culture of carrying out permanent evaluations about the pertinence of didactic materials.
