The objective of this article is to present didactic considerations that facilitate the learning process. The methodology used in this study was documentary; a bibliographic review was conducted to analyze the information and thus provide teaching methods and guidelines for the development of practice material for learning the skill of speed and accuracy. In this way, the business educator will have a guide that provides input for their planning so that the student population can achieve the established goals. Para manejar el teclado de la computadora al tacto con rapidez y exactitud, se necesita práctica constante mediante metodologías y materiales de práctica diseñados para que el estudiantado desarrolle la destreza de digitación al nivel más alto posible. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar consideraciones didácticas que faciliten el proceso de aprendizaje del manejo del teclado de la computadora. La metodología utilizada en este estudio fue de carácter documental; se realizó una revisión bibliográfica para el análisis de la información y así aportar consideraciones didácticas para la enseñanza-aprendizaje y lineamientos para la elaboración de material de práctica para el desarrollo de la destreza de velocidad y exactitud al digitar. De esta manera, el educador comercial tendrá una guía que le brinde insumos para su planificación, lo que ayudará a la población estudiantil alcanzar las metas establecidas.
