It briefly mentions the research project: “Main writers of the Francophonie and their literary trajectory during the second part of the 20th century and the first half of 21st century” and succinctly explains the concept of Francophonie. This article is divided into six parts: the author, his literary production, awards and distinctions, geographical location and the historical context of Martinique, the Negritude movement and finally, the study and analysis of three poems of this great writer Este artículo inicia con una introducción general sobre el escritor martiniqués Aimé Césaire. Se menciona de forma sucinta el proyecto de investigación: Principales escritores/as de la Francofonía y su trayectoria literaria durante la segunda parte del siglo XX y la primera mitad del XXI y se explica, brevemente, el concepto de francofonía. Este artículo se divide en seis partes: el autor, su producción literaria, premios y distinciones, ubicación geográfica y contexto histórico de Martinica, el movimiento de la Negritud y, finalmente, el estudio y análisis de tres poemas de este gran escritor.
