Even though she is sympathetic with women’s struggles in order to gain a more just position within society, she refuses to participate in the gender struggle, since she considers that the Afro-descendant man and woman must together build a better future. El presente artículo analiza someramente el lugar preponderante asignado por Eulalia Bernard Little, poeta de la Negritud costarricense, al hombre negro. A pesar de simpatizar con las luchas de la mujer por lograr una posición más justa dentro de la sociedad, se niega a participar en la lucha de géneros, al considerar que el hombre y la mujer afrodescendientes deben forjar juntos un mejor porvenir. El presente artículo analiza someramente el lugar preponderante asignado por Eulalia Bernard Little, poeta de la Negritud costarricense, al hombre negro. A pesar de simpatizar con las luchas de la mujer por lograr una posición más justa dentro de la sociedad, se niega a participar en la lucha de géneros, al considerar que el hombre y la mujer afrodescendientes deben forjar juntos un mejor porvenir.
