Different problems are discussed and those related to education are numerous either in quality, authors or subjects throughout the life of the magazine. However, its analysis from the perspective of a place for the diffusion of pedagogical ideas has not yet been done. As a result, this article presents an approach to ¿What time is it?... section as a space for formal pedagogical publications that explain different views on Hispanic American thought from the first half of the 20th century. La revista Repertorio Americano dirigida por Joaquín García Monge, constituye un valioso medio de difusión cultural y pensamiento político latinoamericano, y particularmente costarricense, por excelencia. Las problemáticas discutidas son de diversa naturaleza y las relacionadas con la educación constituyen un grupo de publicaciones numerosas en cantidad, autores y temáticas abordadas, constantes a lo largo de la vida de la revista. Sin embargo, su análisis desde la perspectiva de su tratamiento como espacio de difusión de ideas pedagógicas no ha sido realizado. En consecuencia, la presente ponencia expone una aproximación a la sección titulada ¿Qué hora es?..., como un espacio de publicaciones pedagógicas formales que expresan concepciones y miradas diversas sobre el pensamiento educativo hispanoamericano de la primera mitad del siglo XX.
