When magical realism was the most important proposal in prose at the same time two generations of poets reached a proposal based on free verse as an instrument of form and a lyric expression from Hispano-America. Other authors who published in the magazine are mentioned, some examples of form of this poetry, and the Apollonian structure (i.e. metric and rhyme) as well as some examples of literary figures. La presente reflexión intentará mostrar cómo don Joaquín García Monge logró reunir a un grupo de intelectuales y poetas hispanoamericanos, muchosde los cuales llegaron a ser muy reconocidos. En tanto en la prosa florecía el realismo mágico, de forma simultánea dos generaciones consolidaron una propuesta basada en el verso libre como instrumento en la forma y una expresión lírica muy propia de Hispanoamérica. En el detalle de la composición se mencionarán autores hispanoamericanos que publicaron en la revista, algunos ejemplos de forma de la poesía o bien de la estructura apolínea, por ejemplo métrica, rima y, finalmente, algunos ejemplos de figuras literarias.
