Higher education technical education curriculum educational reforms. Introducción: Este artículo se refiere a la enseñanza técnica en El Salvador. En ese sentido, se expone cómo nace la educación técnica formal y su situación en el contexto de las reformas educativas. Objetivo: Por lo antes expuesto el objetivo de esta investigación consiste en describir cuál es el estado de la enseñanza técnica en el sistema educativo nacional y tratar de establecer una vinculación entre los programas emblemáticos y los proyectos de modernización neoliberal y finalmente, como pausan su desarrollo en el agotamiento financiero. Método: Para realizar esta investigación se ha hecho un rastreo de fuentes bibliográficas a partir de las cuales se recogen los datos más relevantes de acuerdo a los objetivos de investigación. Conclusión: La enseñanza técnica en El Salvador es un sistema que forma parte del sistema educativo, ello significa que tiene una institucionalidad que ha devenido de una estructura muy simple a una complejidad de unidades de educación media y superior universitaria. También es parte de un entramado de convenciones internacionales que potencian su desarrollo y progreso. Introduction: This article refers to technical education in El Salvador. In this sense, it describes how formal technical education was born and its situation in the context of educational reforms. Objective: The objective of this research is to describe the state of technical education in the national educational system and to try to establish a link between the emblematic programs and the neoliberal modernization projects and finally, how they pause their development in financial exhaustion. Method: In order to carry out this research, a search of bibliographic sources has been made from which the most relevant data are collected according to the research objectives. Conclusion: Technical education in El Salvador is a system that is part of the educational system, which means that it has an institutional framework that has evolved from a very simple structure to a complexity of high school and university education units. It is also part of a network of international conventions that promote its development and progress. Universidad de El Salvador.
