To achieve these objectives, a methodological design framed in the quantitative approach has been proposed, seeking to verify or not the hypotheses raised. The results obtained or achieved with the application of the constructed instrument, based on the theoretical contributions reviewed, allowed us to conclude and find as a finding the relationship, association or correlation between both variables and thus verify the hypotheses raised, that is to say that there is indeed a positive relationship between empowerment and guarantee of their human rights. Also, the positive relationship between empowerment and the guarantee of women’s fundamental human rights, such as autonomy, economic well-being, gender equality and political participation, was noted. En este estudio se analiza de manera jurídica, sociológica y desde la perspectiva de los derechos humanos cuál es la relación entre el empoderamiento de las integrantes de los Comités de Mujeres Rurales del municipio de Atiquizaya y la garantía de sus derechos humanos. Para el alcance de dichos objetivos, se ha planteado un diseño metodológico enmarcado en el enfoque cuantitativo, buscando comprobar o no, las hipótesis planteadas. Los resultados obtenidos o alcanzados con la aplicación del instrumento construido, con base a los aportes teóricos revisados, permitió concluir y encontrar como hallazgo la relación, asociación o correlación entre ambas variables y así comprobar las hipótesis planteadas, es decir que efectivamente existe relación positiva entre el empoderamiento y la garantía de sus derechos humanos. También, se denotó la relación positiva entre el empoderamiento y la garantía a los derechos humanos fundamentales de las mujeres como los son la autonomía, el bienestar económico, la igualdad de género y la participación política.
