Quintana, Omar Ansiedad estado ansiedad rasgo cansancio despersonalización realización personal síndrome de Burnout confinamiento State anxiety trait anxiety tiredness depersonalization personal fulfillment Burnout syndrome The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and anxiety in teachers who teach at the Manuel Belgrano General Basic Educational Center in the district of San Miguelito. The type of study was descriptive and correlational and the research design was non-experimental. We worked with 18 teachers to whom standardized measurement instruments were applied: the Trait and State Anxiety Inventory. (IDARE) by C. D. Spielberger, R. L. Gorsuch, R. E. Lushe and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) Questionnaire. The results indicated that the 18 teachers obtained a high score on the scale that measures anxiety as a state, while in anxiety-trait, 13 teachers, who represent 72% of the sample, qualified as a high level, while 5 remaining teachers, which represent 28%, obtained a moderate score. Regarding the Burnout syndrome, it was possible to conclude that the teachers did not show the syndrome as such. The results of this investigation allowed us to observe that there was no significant relationship between the Burnout syndrome and anxiety in the teachers of the Manuel Belgrano General Basic Educational Center. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación existente entre síndrome de burnout y ansiedad en los maestros que imparten clases en el Centro Educativo Básico General Manuel Belgrano del distrito de San Miguelito. El tipo de estudio fue descriptivo y correlacional y el diseño de investigación fue no experimental. Se trabajó con 18 maestros a los cuales se les aplicaron los instrumentos de medición estandarizados: el Inventario de ansiedad rasgo y estado. (IDARE) de C. D. Spielberger, R. L. Gorsuch, R. E. Lushe y el Cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Los resultados indicaron que los 18 maestros, obtuvieron una puntuación alta, en la escala que mide la ansiedad como estado, mientras que en ansiedad -rasgo, 13 docentes, quienes representan el 72% de la muestra, calificaron como nivel alto, mientras que 5 docentes restante, los cuales representan el 28% obtuvieron una puntuación moderada. En cuanto al síndrome de Burnout se pudo concluir que los docentes no mostraron el síndrome como tal. Los resultados de esta investigación nos permitieron observar que no existió una relación significativa entre el síndrome de Burnout y la ansiedad en los docentes del Centro Educativo Básico General Manuel Belgrano.
