The author puts it forward from the Costa Rican criminal sphere, with a liberal version, in such a way that its inclusion in the legal system is considered, not only relieving those who provide collaboration, but promoting open conversation and specialized training that allow it to be approached with the rigor that the legal rights involved require. El abordaje del suicidio asistido es tan escaso como controversial. El autor propone tratarlo desde el ámbito penal costarricense, de tal suerte que se considere su inclusión al ordenamiento jurídico, no solo librando de responsabilidad a quienes brinden colaboración, sino promoviendo una conversación abierta y una formación especializada, que deriven en el desarrollo de insumos técnicos apropiados para regular los bienes jurídicos en juego.
