Within the framework of a neoliberal economic system this biopolitic power is exacerbated, transforming itself into a global power in order to maintain secured the conditions for reproduction of capital; it also provokes the risk of destroying life. Michel Foucault teorizó sobre una nueva forma de tecnología de poder que llamó biopolítica, cuyo objetivo es incidir, organizar y moldear a la vida humana para los requerimientos de existencia de la modernidad capitalista.
