This through psychopolitical strategies that are manifested through public policy and deny the critical participation of users, ex-users and mental health activists, who propose decentralized, autonomous and humanist strategies for mental health care. El siguiente artículo plantea una crítica a la reforma psiquiátrica costarricense, en la medida que esta crea un universo discursivo crítico a las instituciones psiquiátricas, pero que en su praxis fortalece el modelo de hegemonía de la psiquiatría en la atención de la salud mental. Esto por medio de estrategias de psicopolítica que se manifiestan a través de la política pública y niegan la participación crítica de las personas usuarias, exusuarias y activistas en salud mental, que proponen estrategias descentralizadas, autónomas y humanistas de la atención a la salud mental.
