To do this, it incorporated the participants’ experiences within the educational system. Elements such as their daily life, disability, and discriminatory practices that they might live were considered in data analysis. In the methodology, the workshop is divided into a sentence complete activity, and the development of a drawing journal. The results showed that the proposed citizenship from the Ethics, Aesthetics and Citizenship Program works as a homogenizing conceptualization that moves away from the different identities that make up the student community. In addition, the urgency of incorporating aspects such as disability, gender, and discrimination into the study of citizenship construction was evident in the workshop. Este artículo tiene por objetivo reflexionar sobre el impacto de las prácticas discriminatorias en la construcción de la ciudadanía en estudiantes con discapacidad física del Colegio Nocturno de Cartago, a través de la aplicación de un taller participativo. Para ello, se incorporaron las vivencias y experiencias de las participantes en el sistema educativo. Se tomaron en cuenta elementos como la cotidianidad, la discapacidad y las prácticas discriminatorias que podrían experimentar. Entre las estrategias metodológicas se empleó un complete de oraciones y, posteriormente, el desarrollo de una bitácora de dibujo. Los resultados evidenciaron que la ciudadanía propuesta desde el Programa de Ética, Estética y Ciudadanía se trabajó como una conceptualización homogeneizadora, la cual se aleja de las distintas identidades que componen la comunidad estudiantil. Asimismo, se demostró la urgencia de incorporar al estudio de la construcción de la ciudadanía aspectos como discapacidad, género y discriminación.   Este artigo pretende refletir sobre o impacto das práticas discriminatórias na construção da cidadania dos estudantes com deficiências físicas no Colégio Nocturno de Cartago, através da aplicação de um workshop participativo. Para tal, foram incorporadas as experiências dos participantes no âmbito do sistema educativo. Elementos como a vida quotidiana, a deficiência e as práticas discriminatórias que poderiam experimentar foram tidos em conta. As estratégias metodológicas incluíram a utilização de um conjunto completo de frases e, subsequentemente, o desenvolvimento de um caderno de desenho. Os resultados encontrados mostraram que a cidadania proposta pelo Programa Ética, Estética e Cidadania funciona como uma conceptualização homogeneizante que se afasta das diferentes identidades que compõem a comunidade estudantil. Da mesma forma, tornou-se evidente a urgência de incorporar aspectos como a deficiência, o género e a discriminação no estudo da construção da cidadania.
