The main objective is to recognize the historical memory of a students’ group that are concluding their secondary education. To achieve this goal, it has been made a study case with four students, through a workshop developed with three pedagogical moments. The results allow to reconstruct and recognize the historical narratives of these students and identify their historical consciousness of the Central America’s Independence. Se describen las narrativas históricas de la Independencia de Centroamérica, en el contexto de la conmemoración del Bicentenario, presentes en las personas estudiantes del último año de Educación Diversificada, del Colegio Redentorista en la zona urbana de Alajuela, Costa Rica, con el fin de analizar la memoria histórica de personas que han cursado el Bachillerato de Educación General Básica costarricense. Para ello se realizó un estudio de caso con cuatro alumnos, a través de un taller con tres momentos de la investigación. Los datos obtenidos facilitan la reconstrucción y el reconocimiento de las narrativas históricas de los estudiantes y permiten identificar la conciencia histórica que tienen, en relación con la independencia de Centroamérica. As narrativas históricas da independência da América Central são descritas, no contexto da comemoração do Bicentenário, presente nos alunos do último ano de Educação Diversificada, do Colégio Redentorista na área urbana de Alajuela, Costa Rica, a fim de analisar a memória histórica das pessoas que concluíram o Bacharelado em Educação Básica da Costa Rica. Para isso, foi realizado um estudo de caso com quatro alunos, em três momentos de pesquisa. Os dados obtidos facilitam a reconstrução e o reconhecimento das narrativas históricas dos alunos e permitem identificar a consciência histórica que possuem em relação à independência da América Central.
