This type of sentence is formed by a nominal head plus a relative clause. The relative sentences with a nominal head are of the external head, are postnominal and employ the gap strategy and the relative pronoun. Relative clauses are introduced into the sentence by a general subordinator nè. The relativizable functions are the subject, the direct object and indirect object, the oblique, the genitive, and the object of comparison. Las oraciones relativas con núcleo nominal son uno de los tres tipos de oraciones relativas en el zapoteco de San Pedro Mixtepec. Están formadas por un núcleo nominal y una cláusula relativa. Las oraciones de relativo con núcleo nominal son de núcleo externo, son postnominales y emplean las estrategias de hueco y de pronombre relativo. Las cláusulas relativas se introducen en la oración mediante un subordinador general nè. Las funciones relativizables son el sujeto, el objeto directo e indirecto, el oblicuo, el genitivo y el objeto de comparación.
