The development of the study is based on the concepts of intertextuality and parodic inversion, which help to determine the processes of inversion around this literary figure. A textual analysis is conducted in dialogue with intertextual theory, the Gaucho tradition and specialized criticism. Thus the poem is characterized as an artistic object that articulates gender criticism with that of hegemonic power. Es un estudio del poema «Moreira» del poeta argentino Néstor Perlongher, a partir de la representación paródica de la figura del gaucho. Se fundamenta en los conceptos de intertextualidad e inversión paródica, los cuales ayudan a determinar los procesos de inversión alrededor de dicha figura literaria. Se lleva a cabo un análisis textual en diálogo con la teoría intertextual, la tradición gauchesca y la crítica especializada. Todo ello tiene la finalidad de estipular el poema como un objeto artístico que articula la crítica de género con la crítica del poder hegemónico.
