From a series of bourgeois categories, popular culture is analyzed as an accomplice or servile element of the capitalist order and state control and its ideological regime. The conceptual contributions that these authors have made about the police, differentiating the theoretical and class prejudices put into play, have been addressed separately. Se lleva a cabo una indagación en torno a la crítica marxista sobre el género policial (Foucault, Gramsci, Eisenstein y Mandel), centrada en presupuestos metodológicos y teóricos a las que hemos bautizado como buena moral marxista. A partir de una serie de categorías burguesas se analiza la cultura popular como cómplice o servil del orden capitalista y del control estatal y su régimen ideológico. Se desligan los aportes conceptuales que estos autores han realizado acerca del policial, distinguiendo los prejuicios teóricos y de clase puestos en juego.
